Valuable

I think the most valuable lesson i have experienced so far was in third grade. I went to Florida for about two months for my dads job. It made me relize that there is more out there than just plan old Peoria. Right then and there i made up my mind and i didnt want to live in Peoria the rest of my life. I want to move to Nisswa Minnesota or Gulf Shores Alabama or back to Chicago. I like big busy cities becuase it neve gets boring.

Movie

Soo the other day in computure class Erin thought it would be a goood idea if i tallked in an English accent but i forgot how too. So we, being the smart people we are, looked it up on You Tube, and we found it. Bridget, Erin and i watched this video and thought it was kind of funny. I tried to do the english accent like she did but it was not very good. I need to, and i will improve my accent

Report Card

My report card for the first semister wasnt good. I wanted to get all Bs and As but that didnt happen. I am very upset that i did not come through with my grade. I tried my besy but i guess it just was not good enough. I am going to try harder this semiester to get all of my grades up to were they need to be. If i do not get them up then i will probaly be grounded forever and be able to get my liscense which is a big bummer becuase i have been studying to get it for awhile. I really need to improve my spanish and geometry gradess, a lot.

Physical goal

I will nurture my physical development by eating better and by excersisng more often. If I eat better and excersise then my physical development will go up very much. I hope i will stay with this goal.

Favorite Halloween costume

My friend, Bridget, thought it would be a good idea to be cotton candy for Halloween one year. That was my favorite Halloween costume it was very original and no one else i know would have thought of that. Another Halloween costume i thought was good was someone being gum underneath a chair. I cant remeber who did this but i remeber someone talking about it and i thought it was a very origianl idea. I never liked dressing up for Halloween soooo i dont but it cool to see what everyone else iss.

Logos

The new logos for Peoria were very interesting. This first logo i picked was the logo with the esablished date on it. This logo makes our city look a little more classy and nice. The second logo i picked was logo that has the sun in it. I think that this logo makes Peoria seem like a great place to live and be proud of. The third logo i picked was The City of Peoria in a wave type motion with a view of the buildings. i think that this logo looks cool.

I choose this as my pictures because i watched this movie the other day with my moms day care kids. If you have never seen this movie you have not lived your life. This is a classic movie that everyone boy and girl should watch.

This is also a classic movie that everyone one should watch. I grew up watching these movies and they are very gooood.

Mrs. Brown gave us a really cool assingment that we have to do. We have to find objects that look like the letters in our name. It was kind of hard but thanks to someone in my class gave me a website that i could find a lot of the pictures at. It was a pretty cool assingment to do. I think that we should do more projects like this.

"Intellectual" development

I plan to nurture my intellectual development by doing my homework on time and correctly. Maybe go ahead as well. I am going to study for all of my tests ahead of time and the night before. I will pay attention better in all my classes and improve my grades in all of my subjects. I will not worry about anything else untill i get my grades goooooood!

Pages Newsletter

Right now we are working on a newsletter with a small group. In our group we each have to write an essay about a topic of our choice and then as a group we write one together.Our articles may range from Twin Day,to interviews with athletes, decorations previews, Homecoming theme editorials, interviews with alumni, how do you win the Spirit Stick, articles concerning any Homecoming-related events...any sporting events during the week, social events, skit night, political drama, rival schools, etc. its a really intersting project and i enjoy it.

Power Point

We did a Saint report on the power point. We got to pick our own saint and i picked St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton. I really like the way iMac does their power point it is way better and easier then what the other ones i have done. I thought that this project was a great way to learn about all diffrent types of saints. I know i have learned a lot.

"Emotional" development

From the mission statement of PND i plan to nurture my intellectual development by doing me best in every class and working hard by studying hard and keeping my grades up.. Hopefully I can reach my goals.

My Goal

My goal for this year is to get better grades in my classes. I didnt really do that well last year but i am hopeing to get better grades this year. So far i am doing good, but we will have to see if it stays like this. Hopefully it will. I need to concentrate on my studies better and less focusing on other things.

StoryBoard

I think that the storyboard project is really fun to do. It makes a good project to do. It i also was opportunity for me to get use to the imacs. I would not mind doing this project. I cannot wait to finish it and put the music along with it. It will be fun.
